The show starts with a long intro to a pitch-dark room. Then the ten dancers appear with heavily muscled bodies, dressed in dresses and skirts.
Bruno Beltrão, one of the absolute dance celebrities of Brazil, is known for his virtuoso performing arts, in which he investigates the tension between hip-hop, break dance and contemporary dance. With his latest work Inoah, he also touches on issues related to immigration and street and police violence with his earthy, powerful movement language. In the confrontation between dancers, things are regularly fierce and the men fight each other with even more impressive skills.
