She is the most important woman in the early life of every human being: mother. Even if she is not there, there is no escaping her existence: in our subconscious, our memories, our behavior and our relationships. In moeder Flemish collective Peeping Tom puzzles all these pieces of mother together with immersive, layered images, their characteristic sardonic humor, tenderness and physical artistry. Moeder is the second part of the trilogy that began with vader (2014). The show will have its Dutch premiere on 25 November at Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam.
